TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
